AMPLIS Review: Is This Agency Worth Hiring?

AMPLIS Review: Is This Agency Worth Hiring?

Summarize with

AMPLIS promises B2B ads that reach named prospects instead of an algorithm's best guess. Their services page says they can show you the actual names, titles, and companies they are targeting before a single ad runs.

That is a strong claim, and almost nobody has checked it in public. If you have been searching for AMPLIS reviews, you will find directory listings and no client reviews at all.

I ran into the same wall. So this AMPLIS review covers their website, their Clutch listing, California business filings, and their founder's public profile.

AMPLIS is a small Orange County agency that names three people on its about page. It sells paid B2B ads, LinkedIn outreach, and CRM enrichment. Their site says the work runs across Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

Their about page reports that founder Tyler Mounce spent years as a marketing director before building the agency he wished existed.

Below: what they sell, what it costs, what is missing, and the questions to ask on the call.

Our Verdict on AMPLIS

Hire AMPLIS if you sell a high-ticket B2B service to a market you can list by name, and you want paid ads run off that list rather than off platform targeting filters.

Two things support this verdict. Their services page commits to a narrow scope and says so bluntly: no SEO, no web dev, no 47-service menu.

Their about page also reports Clay solutions partner status among the first 100, plus HubSpot and HeyReach certification. That is the right toolset for the list building they describe.

One thing holds it back. Key buyer answers are not published:

  • No client reviews anywhere. Their own Clutch profile reads "Not yet reviewed."
  • No case studies. Two testimonials, both credited by job title and company only.
  • No pricing, no minimum term, and no statement about who keeps the ad accounts, lists, and Clay tables at exit.

So treat this as a conditional yes. Get pricing, ownership, and one reference call in writing first. If you would rather start with agencies that publish those answers, you can look at other certified agencies here.

How I Evaluated AMPLIS

I have not been an AMPLIS client, so this review is research-based.

I read all four pages of their website, both homepage testimonials, and their stated team and partnership claims. I pulled their Clutch listing and searched Clutch, G2, Trustpilot, and Reddit for client feedback. I checked California business filings for the legal entity behind the brand, and read the founder's public profiles.

I judged them on four things: who owns the infrastructure, how a lead gets qualified, what the contract terms are, and whether the published numbers hold up. Everything below marked "reports" or "says" comes from their own published material.

AMPLIS Services Reviewed

AMPLIS sells one outcome: pipeline from buyers who already recognize your name.

The AMPLIS homepage leads on audience building rather than platform targeting.

B2B Targeted Ads

Their services page calls this the core service and lists six inclusions. Three are ICP list building with Clay, ad deployment across Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit, and creative development for image and video ads. The rest covers landing page strategy, closed-loop tracking with anonymous click identification, and LinkedIn outreach triggers.

The differentiator they claim is visibility before launch. Their process section says you will see the target list and recognize the names, and that they can be more targeted on LinkedIn than LinkedIn's own ad platform.

AMPLIS defines its scope by exclusion on the services page.

Ask which platform actually carried the results they describe. Costs and buyer behavior on Reddit and Meta look nothing like LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Lead Generation

This is listed as a supporting service. It covers targeted connection campaigns to verified ICP contacts, automated sequences, inbox management for sales teams at scale, CRM integration and lead routing, plus reporting.

Their site says ad engagement elsewhere can trigger a LinkedIn connection that references that interest. Their about page names HeyReach as a certified partnership, which is a multi-sender tool built for exactly this kind of LinkedIn outreach.

Ask how many LinkedIn accounts run per campaign, and who pays for the seats.

CRM Enrichment and Cleanup

The third service covers data audit and deduplication, contact and company enrichment via Clay, integration with your existing data providers, ongoing maintenance, and HubSpot implementation where needed.

Their page states they are a Clay Solutions Partner and a HubSpot Partner, and that they handle CRM implementations for companies that need infrastructure before campaigns.

Ask whether the Clay tables and workflows stay with you if the engagement ends.

Every AMPLIS cell above comes from their public material. Every expert cell comes from live profiles I read this session. Confirm the details on your discovery calls.

How AMPLIS's Process Works

Their site describes a four-step system. Here is how that maps onto the six stages a client actually lives through.

Discovery and ICP Definition

Their process section says they build a comprehensive brief before any ads run, covering firmographics and psychographics.

Ask them to write your ideal customer profile down on one page. If the brief cannot fit on a page, it is not a definition yet.

Prospect List Creation

They report using Clay and advanced data tools to build ICP-level lists of actual individuals, not audience estimates. Their homepage says you will see the list and recognize the names.

Take them up on that. Ask to see a sample list before launch, because a quick check of 50 rows will tell you more than any sales call.

Copy and Campaign Approval

Creative development for image and video ads is in scope, and their about page says creative is powered by a partnership with content agency New Norml.

Their site does not say who signs off on creative before it goes live. Ask for written approval rights on ad copy and on any outreach message, because the same rules that carry outbound sales apply to ad copy aimed at a named list.

Campaign Launch

Ads deploy across the four platforms, with LinkedIn outreach running alongside. Their homepage frames this as reaching buyers on Instagram on the weekend, YouTube in the evening, and Reddit at lunch.

If any messaging channel is in scope, setup and email warm up come first, and that takes weeks. Ask for a launch date and what has to be true to hit it.

Reply Handling and Meeting Booking

Their closing step is what they call closing the loop: LinkedIn connections, CRM enrichment, and sales notifications when someone engages.

Read that carefully, because notifications go to your team. Ask plainly who replies to an interested prospect on a Friday evening, and what the target response time is.

Reporting and Optimization

Their site describes systems that compound over time but publishes no reporting cadence, dashboard, or metric set.

Ask for one weekly number, one monthly review, and the definition of every metric in writing before the first invoice.

AMPLIS Pricing and Contract Terms

AMPLIS does not publish pricing. Their about page says engagements start with a free strategy call, so the number arrives on the call.

Their Clutch listing shows a minimum project size of $1,000 and an undisclosed hourly rate. For context, comparable managed B2B ad and outbound programs tend to charge monthly retainers in the low four figures, but that is a market anchor and not their quote.

What's Included at Each Price Point

There are no published tiers. What their services page says an engagement covers: list building in Clay, ad deployment across four platforms, creative development, landing page strategy, closed-loop tracking, and LinkedIn triggers.

There is also no lead guarantee anywhere on their site, so there is no refund mechanism to define. That cuts both ways. Nothing to argue about later, and nothing to hold them to either.

Hidden and Additional Costs to Watch

  • Ad spend. This is the big one on a paid-media engagement, and it sits outside the retainer. Ask for a minimum monthly budget by platform.
  • Data and enrichment credits. Clay usage, waterfall enrichment, and verification are billed somewhere. Ask whose account it runs on.
  • Setup and onboarding fees. CRM implementation is a listed service, so it may be priced separately from campaigns.
  • LinkedIn accounts and Sales Navigator seats. Multi-sender outreach needs real accounts. Ask how many, and who buys them.
  • Exit terms. Ask who keeps the ad accounts, pixels, creative files, target lists, and domains.

That last one matters most. If the agency owns your sending domains, leaving means starting your email deliverability from zero.

Who Should Hire AMPLIS?

  • You sell high ticket B2B services or high contract value SaaS, which is the fit their own site publishes.
  • Your total addressable market is small enough to list by name, so list-first targeting actually beats platform filters.
  • You want paid ads and LinkedIn running as one motion, with ad engagement triggering outreach.
  • You already have a CRM worth enriching, since HubSpot work and data cleanup are in scope.
  • You value a small senior team over an account-management layer, and you can live without published proof.

If three or more of those describe you, take the free strategy call and bring the eight questions further down this page.

Who Should Not Hire AMPLIS?

  • You want cold email or cold calling as a channel, because neither appears on their services page.
  • You need independent verification before signing, and no reviews exist on any platform yet.
  • You want a lead or meeting guarantee, since their site publishes none.
  • You sell a broad or undefined market, where their precision approach loses its advantage.
  • You need heavy in-house capacity, because only three people are named on their about page.

One more case. If you are sending under a few hundred emails a month, you may not need an agency at all, since running Salesforge yourself at $48 per month covers that volume with warmup included.

AMPLIS Case Studies and Reported Results

AMPLIS publishes no case studies. There is no results page, no client list, and no numbers beyond two homepage testimonials.

AMPLIS homepage testimonial credited to the CEO of AURA Accounting Solutions
The strongest proof AMPLIS publishes is a testimonial credited by job title, not by name.

The strongest claim on the site comes from the CEO of AURA Accounting Solutions, who reports landing high five-figure ARR contracts from AMPLIS campaigns. The second, from the CEO of Partners Art & Framing, praises how well AMPLIS understood their pain points and names no outcome at all.

Two things stand out. First, the reported win is a revenue band rather than a countable figure, so there is no meetings number, cost per lead, or timeframe attached. Second, the two named verticals are fractional CFO services and custom framing for the interior design trade, which does not establish a repeatable pattern in either direction.

Both are company-published testimonials that no independent platform has verified. Neither carries a named individual, so ask for one reference in your vertical you can actually call.

AMPLIS Limitations to Consider Before Signing

  • No independent reviews: Their Clutch profile exists and reads "Not yet reviewed," and I found nothing on G2, Trustpilot, or Reddit. Ask for two reference calls with clients in your revenue range.
  • Two different businesses on paper: Their Clutch listing calls them a fractional marketing team rather than an agency, and puts Fractional CMO Services at 50% of work with search engine optimization at 10%. Their website says no SEO. Ask which description matches what you would actually be buying.
  • No published pricing or contract terms: No retainer range, no minimum commitment, no notice period. Get all three in writing before the first invoice.
  • Ownership is unaddressed: Nothing on their site states who keeps ad accounts, pixels, target lists, and Clay tables when an engagement ends. That is the single most expensive gap to discover late.
  • Three-person team: Their about page names Tyler Mounce, Corinne Recinos, and Ert Subhab. That buys fast decisions and real key-person risk. Ask what happens to your campaign if the founder is out for two weeks.
AMPLIS Clutch profile showing Not yet reviewed, a $1,000+ minimum project size and Fractional CMO Services at 50%
The AMPLIS Clutch profile, checked this session: no reviews yet, and a service mix their website contradicts.

None of these should rule AMPLIS out on its own. But if two or more of them matter to you, compare agencies that already answer these questions on their public profiles, and that is exactly what the certified agencies below do.

AMPLIS Alternatives: Certified Forge Experts Worth Considering

Do not just Google "lead generation agency" and hire the first result. Compare a short list of agencies whose practices you can actually verify before you talk to any of them.

The Forge Expert Network is a directory of agencies certified on the Forge ecosystem. Certification requires completing Salesforge's cold email training and meeting program eligibility requirements, so every listed agency has a disclosed, modern outbound stack.

The directory is younger and smaller than Clutch, so treat it as a curated starting point rather than a complete market map. If you are mid-comparison, the Martal Group review and the Abstrakt Marketing Group review cover two much larger US B2B lead generation shops.

I picked these three because each one answers a specific gap I found in AMPLIS.

1. Outbound Pros

Best for: Buyers who want email, LinkedIn, and phone running as one coordinated motion.

This is the option to look at if messaging channels matter to your market. AMPLIS runs no cold email and no calling, while Outbound Pros lists list building, data enrichment, cold email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and PPC on its live profile.

Their profile states a guarantee of 50 to 75 qualified meetings per month, commission-based pricing, and a $1.5K to $10K monthly retainer band. It also reports owned domain infrastructure with documented SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, a four to six week warm-up targeting 85 to 95% inbox placement, and roughly 21 days to go live. In the Outbound Pros case study, founder Jānis Plūme reports zero downtime across client campaigns and onboarding new clients without extra licenses.

2. B2B boosted

Best for: Buyers who want the outbound system in their own accounts, with the price on the page.

This one answers the two gaps AMPLIS leaves open: pricing and ownership. B2B boosted builds Clay-centered outbound systems, the same technical ground AMPLIS works on. Its profile takes the opposite stance on who keeps them, and says clients keep the tables, prompts, and workflows if they leave.

The profile states systems are set up under accounts your company owns, with no minimum commitment and no termination clauses. It publishes prices too: a 30-day pilot at £1,999, or a three-month sprint at £1,749 per month. It reports 40+ testimonials over the last two years, including a named one from David Scheffer, Client Consultant at E-Tabs, who reports doubled meetings booked.

3. RevSculpt

Best for: Buyers who want quantified outcomes and named client results before signing.

This is the pick for the verification gap. AMPLIS publishes no case studies and no named clients, while RevSculpt reports specific, countable outcomes on its profile.

The profile states over 6,000 qualified meetings scheduled across more than 15 B2B verticals. Most clients see a first qualified meeting within 18 days, per the same profile, and pricing starts from $5,000 per month. It also reports over 300 qualified meetings in six months for one AEO and SEO agency, plus a 14x return on outbound spend for a digital asset infrastructure company.

RevSculpt has no Salesforge case study page, so those are its own numbers, alongside a named testimonial from Kate, CMO at Finassets.

Prefer Not to Hire an Agency at All?

Two routes are worth a look before you commit to a retainer.

The first is running outbound yourself with Salesforge. It starts at $48 per month with unlimited mailboxes and free unlimited Warmforge warmup included, plus a 14-day free trial. For a small, nameable target list, that plus your own time may be the whole answer.

The second is to hire Agent Frank, Salesforge's autonomous AI SDR, from $499 per month billed quarterly. He handles prospecting, sequencing, replies, and meeting booking on his own, 24/7. Agent Frank is a separate subscription, never bundled into a Salesforge plan price, and he needs a sales-led demo plus a two-week warm-up before he starts sending.

Questions to Ask Before Hiring AMPLIS

Their answers will tell you more than any review, including this one.

  1. What counts as a qualified lead here, and is a form fill, a reply, or a booked meeting the unit you report on?
  2. Who owns the ad accounts, pixels, target lists, Clay tables, and any domains or LinkedIn seats when we stop working together?
  3. What is the total monthly cost, including retainer, minimum ad spend by platform, enrichment credits, and any setup fee?
  4. Who replies to an interested prospect, us or you, and what response time do you commit to?
  5. What is the minimum commitment and the notice period to cancel?
  6. Do we get written approval rights on the target list, the ad creative, and every outreach message?
  7. What do reports contain, how often do they arrive, and which metric do we judge month one on?
  8. Which clients in our industry can we speak to, and can we see the numbers behind that engagement?

Final Verdict: Is AMPLIS Worth It?

AMPLIS is worth considering if you sell a high-ticket B2B offer into a market you can name company by company. The pitch is ads pointed at that list rather than at a platform's audience estimate.

What sets them apart is the scope discipline and the toolset behind it. Their services page rules out SEO and web work entirely, and their about page reports Clay solutions partner status among the first 100, plus HubSpot and HeyReach certification. I would shortlist them for a specialized professional services firm in North America with an addressable market of a few thousand named accounts and a five-figure deal size.

I would not shortlist them for a buyer who needs a meeting guarantee, a messaging-led motion, or proof on the record. If that is you, compare certified agencies that already publish pricing, ownership terms, and named client results.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is AMPLIS a Legitimate Company?

Yes. California business filings list Amplis LLC as an active limited liability company, document number 202462518486, filed on June 5, 2024, with Tyler Mounce as chief executive officer and manager. The filing records a Costa Mesa principal address on Paularino Avenue, a shared office building, and shows good standing with the Secretary of State and the Franchise Tax Board. Note that the entity was formed after the 2023 founding year on their directory listings, which usually just means the business traded before the LLC existed.

2. How Much Does AMPLIS Cost?

Pricing is not published on their website. Their Clutch listing shows a minimum project size of $1,000 and an undisclosed hourly rate, and their about page says engagements begin with a free strategy call. Remember that on a paid-media engagement the retainer is not the full price. Ad spend, enrichment credits, LinkedIn seats, and any CRM setup fee sit on top, so ask for one total monthly number.

3. Does AMPLIS Guarantee Leads?

No. I found no lead guarantee, meeting guarantee, or refund term anywhere on their site. Their homepage promise is precision rather than volume, and the fit section says the approach works best for companies with clearly defined markets and high customer values. Since there is no guarantee to hold them to, get a written first-90-days target instead, with the metric defined and the review date fixed.

4. Who Owns the Lead Data and Campaign Assets?

Their site does not say, and that silence is the finding. Nothing published states who keeps the ad accounts, tracking pixels, target lists, Clay tables, or any domains and LinkedIn accounts used for outreach. Domain ownership matters most, because a domain you do not control takes its sender reputation with it when you leave. Put asset ownership in the contract, not in an email thread.

5. What Are the Best AMPLIS Alternatives in 2026?

Three certified agencies cover the gaps I found. Outbound Pros adds cold email and cold calling with a stated guarantee of 50 to 75 qualified meetings per month. B2B boosted publishes its pilot pricing and sets systems up in accounts you own. RevSculpt reports over 6,000 qualified meetings across 15+ verticals. You can compare more in the Forge Expert Network, and for smaller volumes running Salesforge in-house is a real option.

6. Should You Hire a Lead Generation Agency or Build Outbound In-House?

Hire an agency when you need pipeline fast and do not want to recruit and train SDRs. Build in-house when you want to own the system, the data, and the learning long term. There is a middle path: run Salesforge yourself from $48 per month, or hire an AI SDR like Agent Frank at $499 per month billed quarterly, then move to an agency once volume justifies the retainer. Many teams start there and never need the agency.
