Aircall
Aircall is a cloud-based phone system and customer communications platform used by sales, support, and customer success teams to run calls and messages from a single workspace. It combines business telephony with SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp, a shared inbox, IVR, smart call routing, and a power dialer, with every conversation logged automatically to the CRM or helpdesk through more than 250 native integrations, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Pipedrive, and Intercom. Its AI layer works on three levels: AI Assistants that transcribe calls, coach reps live, and complete follow-up work; AI Voice Agents that answer, qualify, and resolve routine calls around the clock in 38 languages; and AI Messaging Agents that handle SMS and WhatsApp conversations. Aircall serves small and mid-size businesses as well as enterprise teams through desktop, web, iOS, and Android apps, and states that more than 24,000 companies use the platform. It holds SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance.

Cons
- Connection and Call Quality Issues: Connection problems and call quality are the most frequently cited complaints on G2, and Capterra reviewers describe echo, latency, or dropped calls on weaker connections and during busy periods.
- Dialer and Loading Glitches: G2 reviewers also flag dialer issues and slow loading as recurring frustrations.
- Limited Analytics on Lower Tiers: Capterra reviewers want more advanced, customizable reporting, and Essentials retains only six months of basic analytics.
- Three-User Minimum: Every plan requires at least three licenses, raising the entry cost for solo users and very small teams.
- Key Features Gated or Sold Separately: Power Dialer, AI call summaries, and the Salesforce Sales Cloud integration require Professional, while real-time AI coaching is a $49 add-on.
- Integration Noise: A Capterra reviewer notes that some integrations generate many hard-to-distinguish call recordings.
