Generate Personalized Invite Graphics at Scale

Feed Clay a CSV of invitees, pull each person’s LinkedIn profile photo, and call the Templated.io API to render on-brand graphics (e.g., “See you at {{event}},” badges with name/title/company, speaker cards). Clay handles enrichment (profile image URL + fields), builds the API body, and returns a populated image URL per row - ready to drop into LinkedIn DMs, email sequences, or landing pages. Use it for event RSVPs, webinar reminders, community invites, or partner announcements where a personalized visual boosts CTR and reply rates.

Workflow (in Clay):

1. Import list via CSV (name, title, company, LinkedIn URL, event name/date, CTA, etc.).
2. Enrich LinkedIn profile picture URL (Clay block or third-party avatar extraction).
3. Build Templated.io payload (template ID, text variables, image slots - e.g., {{profile_image}}, {{first_name}}, {{company}}).
4. HTTP Request → Templated.io (POST) with API key; receive rendered image URL.
5. Store output (image URL) in a Clay column; optionally upload to storage (S3/GDrive) or attach as an asset.
6. (Optional) Push to Salesforge: map the image URL into a custom variable and reference it in your outreach sequence.

Implementation tips:

• Always set a fallback avatar if a profile image is missing.
• Pre-validate image URLs (200 OK) and rate-limit API calls to avoid throttling.
• Keep your Templated.io template locked (fonts, colors, safe zones) to avoid text overflow.
• Name assets deterministically: {{company}}-{{first_name}}-{{event}}.png.
• If you’ll reuse images, persist to cloud storage and save the public URL in Clay.
